The National Day on Writing is an annual event sponsored by the National Council of Teachers of English on October 20. I’ve been a member of NCTE for a long time, but when I moved overseas, I joined my colleagues in creating our own version, the (Inter)National Day on Writing.
Pictures from these events have been publicized by NCTE, the New York Times Learning Blog, the National Center for Literacy Education, and the National Writing Project.
